January 23, 2009 - Happy Birthday Baby!

Today my youngest turns TWO!!! Ahh, can't believe it. So for the first time I made her a special card made with all the love a mommy can give and I just love how it turned out.

I used a cuttlebug folder on the green background and inked it with chocolate papertrey ink. I used my nestied scallop rectangle to make a background for the number 2 rub on. The DP is from American Crafts: The color of Memories. The monkey is a cuttlebug kids die that I pieced together using different shades of brown bazzil paper. I popped out the sentiment and added 2 prima flowers with rhinestones in the middle.

Recent creations

I've been realing into paper crafting rather than digital....I love getting out all my papers, embellishments & stamps and the touch and feel of it all. Making cards are my absolute favorite - it just feels nice to finish a project every now and then and I usually finish my card at one sitting, LOL. I am really trying to get into scrapbooking again but it hasn't happened yet!

One Year Announcement

I created this for a friend to celebrate her son turning 1. This is one of my favorite cards to create!

Birthday Invite

I really like how it turned out. This is an invite I recently did for a friend online with a son the same age as Tolla. I really love making personalized birthday invites.
